The far right would rather have Russia come to us. Before they became accepted and embraced by the “regular” right in my country, the far right would always be on about how Putin could “save us”. Now they’re pretending that never happened. Just like they’re pretending they didn’t march on Hitlers birthday 20 years ago, and that they didn’t chant “hail victory” when celebrating the results of a good election.

Drivers are always the least productive people in a city. They are bad for local businesses and the general health of the population. There are no downsides to removing car traffic from cities.

It’s just something people say to me quite often. Even before I met my wife. I don’t think it’s politeness or flirting. People have literally done a double take and inhaled deeply.

I think it might be because I mostly wear wool and linen clothing (including underwear). Body odour is mostly bacteria and wet cotton is excellent growing grounds for them. I often have people (mostly women) tell me I smell great and ask what schampo/bodywash i use. Thing is I use the most basic perfume-less one.

I honestly didn’t think deodorant was stil a thing since I decoupled from advertising. I’m a man who can cook and eat well so apparently I smell great even if I go a couple of days without showering sometimes.
