I’d be inclined to agree IF we continue on this trajectory. It’s been good defensively so far but still a long way to go. Last season we conceded way too many goals in the run-in so the jury’s still out for me.

Spuds with their drums after slagging us off
I’d be lost without the fridge
If you’re into transfer gossip and transfers, it’ll probably be better for your health if you have no expectations this January.
Unless we sell players for good fees we just don’t have the kind of money that would be needed to make exciting new signings.
I know it won’t stop half of you though, and you’ll be moaning about missing out on players we were never in for lol.
I think this is on Mikel tbh. I don’t tend to have many issues with him but this one definitely could have been handled better.
You can’t say a photo doesn’t show what happened lol. The question is was he endangering an opponent when making his challenge. Ok, he didn’t snap the player’s leg in the end but we’re probably talking milliseconds of timing and it could’ve been a different outcome. Based on the law he could have gone for this.
About 68% pass completion
Forget Tottenham, City has the tastiest upcoming PL fixtures.
Man U (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Chelsea (A)
Liverpool (H)
Spurs (A)
What do you mean?
True, but if teams start sitting back as they do with us they probably don’t look as good.
The issue is how Saliba jumped. If his arms were lower they probably would have taken proximity into account. With your arms that high up you’re giving them a decision to make.
Glad we’ll be playing all our PL games on a Saturday until at least the end of Nov. A fair chunk of our games will be televised in the UK (although the Discovery + app is terrible compared to BT Sport).
You’ll get downvoted for saying this, but I agree. Nothing wrong with deciding to pick one player over another but what he said publicly created unnecessary noise.
Also, saying he probably could have handled it better is not the same as saying he handled it terribly, but some people see it as the same thing.
