It is. I bought my house two years ago with a low interest rate and it’s still another four years before I’m paying more money towards my principal than interest.

You live in a high cost of living area. I don’t hold it against you, but I ask that you understand the market isn’t like that everywhere.
Well I contribute to the 90% of lurkers. I upvote posts and comments. It ain’t much but it’s honest work.
Parody. Here’s the original.
Omg I’m 35 next month. I’ll be considered middle age. Fuuuuuuck… At least I’ll contribute to the non-binge drinking since I’m sober.
Oh I thought she was head of accounting. I didn’t realize HR. Conflict of interest much?
Yeah. Banned due to liability of the admins getting sued by big corp for hosting. It was really fun reading both sides. Some users pissed and threatening to leave the server. Others agreeing with the decision calling the opposing users whiny and asking why did you even join one of the biggest servers then? 10/10 recommend reading the threads.
That was a fun read. Thanks for posting.
I ask Siri to make phones calls and set a timer. I know these companies wanted us to use voice assistants more often but for me it was always faster to pick up my phone and do it myself. This reminds me of last year when articles were circulating about Amazons Alexa costing the company $3bn in the first quarter of 2022.
That Boars Head chipotle is great. Ate a whole triangle of it the other day.
It’s bad when I have to Google El Paso Shooting to remember which one this was…
Is this real?
I love this because more people will comment. A majority of my time on Reddit was reading through comments and hearing all of people’s interesting takes and learning random information. The daily increase is fun to watch especially since I’m not the one maintaining the servers!
Is anyone on Lemmy doing okay? I always come to the comments of these posts and see the doom and gloom. I’m a millenniaI. I paid off my student loans. I own a home I can afford. I’m debt free besides my mortgage. I have an emergency fund. I have a 401k that’s on track. I worked hard and made sacrifices to get where I am. I can only assume there are others out there who have done the same.
