Youd be more likely to get banned for singing the praises of Apple, Google, or any AI, than for criticizing them. Clearly, you think you are being targeted, but I highly recommend you pay more attention to the context of the conversation and the words you use to communicate your ideas.

I’m just talking generally, I don’t even know what the removed comments were, so I can’t argue the point, but just pay attention to HOW you are speaking, be open to criticism and you’ll be far less frustrated.

Although Napster and music downloading really put it into the public eye, the first thing pirated, was definitely a game. We used to have to look up code words in the instruction manual to prove that we bought the game LOOONG before most people knew the high seas even existed.

That scenario started out pretty bad, and it went downhill fast from there! Sheesh.

But, if Lemmy isn’t suiting your needs, then you shouldn’t use it, but from what I can see about your removed posts, you’re essentially showing up for book club and talking about movies. I’m sure they were perfectly fine opinions on those movies, but the people at book club want to talk about books.

Perhaps, but when you ask why something is happening, and every response is the same, it’s probably going to keep happening until you acknowledge that all these other people might actually know what they are talking about.

I grew up in a rural area and nearly everyone rode the bus. My bus ride was about 45 minutes each way. I wasn’t THAT far from the school, but the bus went down every side street dripping off kids between my house and the school.

Where I live now, only a small percentage of kids ride the bus. Most have to walk.
