The G80 M3 is even more feasible as a daily driver than the F80, which is what my point is as well. Each generation of M cars becomes more viable as a daily driver while also gaining more performance for their sport mode. There is a clear emphasis in providing daily usability while also providing performance, whereas track cars are focused on sacrificing anything to pull the best track times. The G82 M4 CSL is arguably a track car, since it does exactly that. The Huracan STO is a track car. An M3? Not a chance

I never understand these kinds of comments. M cars are not track cars and never will be, M cars are meant to be high performance daily drivers, not “weekend cars” like a GT3 RS or an SF90. The daily driver component will never go away. The M3 is just as much of a daily driver as an M340i is.
