Yep. One of my favorite things about buying a Tesla was not having to deal with a sales person or dealership.

Bought the car on my phone, spent 10 minutes picking it up at the service center.

My wife recently bought an Audi. I went with her to pick it up. Price was settled, no financing. Yet we still spent over an hour with the finance guy trying to upsell us on at least 10 different warranties and other useless nonsense.

I bought my Tesla on my phone. Spent 10 minutes picking it up. When you find a dealership that will get me in an out in 10 minutes, let me know.

Things that surprised me:

1. How much range anxiety I had with an ICE vehicle. I commute about 60 miles a day. I would often be driving home and realize I was getting low on gas. But I’m tired and hungry so I’ll just get gas on the way to work tomorrow.

Then tomorrow morning, I’m running late so I don’t want to stop. Then I’m on the way home and sweating it that I can make it to the gas station. I don’t need that stress.

With home charging, I never even think about range.

2. How much I love 1-pedal driving.

3. How much I hated having to get oil changes.

4. (Tesla) How much I hated car dealers. Yeah, I knew I hated them, just underestimated how much. I will literally never buy from a dealership again.
