Sleeve it with a piece of brake line or copper tubing. Drill it to fit and epoxy.

Drilling to size and sleeving with brake line or any small metal tube and epoxy works best in my experience.

I don’t, but only because it paid dividends getting through my mechanical engineering degree and made me far more hirable. I can also fix my own cars which saves me thousands of dollars.
