I listed my 1TB LCD for $480 CAN (others were listing theirs for $600-800 CAN) and I sold for asking within 48 hours. Had about 17 individuals reach out within that time and took the first offer (all but 1 were willing to pay my asking price).
I got the 512 OLED.
Nova Scotia, received my OLED today (ordered within 20 minutes of launch).
Not in ON but on the east coast and I would assume your package will originate from the same destination so here’s how it should work (I ordered mine launch day within 20 minutes of release):
-Nov 20 (shipment info sent to FedEx and item made its way to Schaumburg, IL, USA).
-Nov 21 (package made its way to Indianapolis, IN, USA)
-Nov 22 (package made it through to Mirable, PQ, CAN and was released by customs).
Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and is showing on time.
Games wise, you have described exactly what my wife loves played (huuuuge fan of sims 4 and Harry Potter).
Her new favourite game is called house flipper (she found out about it through TikTok).
She (through my steam account) owns the base game and every single dlc and has about 200 hours into it through steam.
I suggest you buy:
-all 3 games -a dock in case she likes using a bigger screen during longer gaming sessions. -if you go with the dock, grab her a controller unless she likes using a kb and mouse (in which case grab her both).
Update: Mine just shipped ! Coming from IL, USA via FEDEX. No ETA has been provided yet.
So no one in Canada has moved to picked up by carrier yet I see :/
I’m in the same boat as the rest (item packaged the night of release and has been waiting on the carrier).
I just reinstalled GTA 4 last night and it froze in the same manner… I just restarted the install and it fixed itself.
It appears this was fixed via shader updates (for myself anyways). Last night I tested a few games and the crackling was very noticeable.
About 10 minutes ago I decided to test the same games and I noticed upon launch of each game that vulcan shaders began to download and install.
This removed the crackling for all my games.
N/M, it works if you switch to experimental. RE4 remake works out of the box also.
