Somehow I’ve never played any entry in the series.
I have the PSone game right here though, so one day…
Really want to play the remake of 2 as well.
Hi there, my name is Andy, I’m from Belgium.
I spend most of my free time digitising and restoring classic video game magazines, mostly from the UK.
I’ve been doing this for over 20 years now and I’m here to share my passion for these magazines with others.
I love to read and talk about gaming memories from years gone by.
My main hobbies are gaming, both modern and retro gaming, as well as Japanese, South Korean and classic Hong Kong cinema.

It was just added to the clacks collection on PS4 and 5.
But Capcom messed it up like they did with the original Resident Evil.
You can’t buy the game like every other PS1 game on the system.
You can only play it if you subscribe to the PlayStation Plus premium tier. 😭

@Pirky@lemmy.world
I actually never played the multiplayer.
Looks like I really missed out.
I don’t think I ever completed any of the games, but the past few months, I’ve been thinking of going back to them.
They just don’t seem to make them like this anymore which is a real shame.
@Pirky@lemmy.world
It sure paints a very vivid picture.
Really imaginative. 😅

Ah, I vaguely remember that.
@JTO_is_Typing@mstdn.games oh nice!

This past month I heard on an episode of Retronauts that might have been a Patreon exclusive, about the clay figures for the first issue of Nintendo Power.
I think they were in Gail Tilden’s office for a very long time, but it might have been someone else’s.
But when they were away for a while or were moving offices or something, someone threw them away. 😐
@Varyk@sh.itjust.works I’m just getting them out before I leave for work.
You can always mute me?
@Im_old@lemmy.world
Pretty sure this game released on quite a few micro systems and PC back in the day…

We are nearly as far from the DS launch today as we were from the Super Nintendo launch when the DS came out.
So, I’m afraid so. The DS is retro. 👀

A bit like “I just bought Virtua Fighter 3 for the PS5 and it came with this Like A Dragon indie game or something” from earlier this year. 😅
@OffTheBooks@mastodon.gamedev.place that would be the second one. 😄

You can really see the GoldenEye DNA in them as well. Especially in the first two.
The third one expanded on it to a ridiculous degree.
I love all of them. 😊

😅
Can I perhaps interest you in another Rare treasure?
It’s Mr. Pants.
Perhaps my favourite title for a video game ever. 😂
@ishambard@cupoftea.social
Such a unique game. 😅
I can’t wait to play it again.
Started them on Xbox when they were added to the backwards compatibility project, but they never felt like they should.
They controls were weirdly unresponsive and floaty.
They did try to update that through a patch, but for some reason they still felt really off.
I’ve been hearing that these new PS4/5 ports don’t have that issue at all, so I’m really looking forward to it.
TS1 was the first PS2 game I played. 😄
@Dennis5891@mstdn.games so glad they brought the first two back on Switch.
It makes me hope that we might see a new entry one day.
@Dennis5891@mstdn.games
It’s so stupid that they do this.
I have it on PS3 as a PSone classic, so with any normal company, I would now have the PS4/5 version for free as well to play on modern hardware, but not with Capcom…
