Another issue/solution I found with this is make sure there are no spaces in the name of the SD card.

Yes it does. I’ve gotten as far as getting to show hdr in the menu to enable it using proton experimental, but the display itself doesn’t seem to switch to hdr. I have the same issue with HDR not coming up with Mass Effect LE so I am wondering if it’s an issue with games that have a 3rd party program like EA App and Rockstar App

Change to Proton Experimental. Donno about Star Ocean, but worked with FF7

Have a very high end PC and nope no regrets. I mean Deck is for the times you aren’t or don’t want to be at your desk or home theater.
