1 year agoGot 3600 atm, can’t really afford 5800x3d (the price of CPU alone + new cooler + new PSU) so I got myself 5600 (it was a decent deal, $100 minus $60 in store credit) right before the announcement. 5700x3d is still a rumor but if it ends up available I’ll switch to that if the price is right. Kinda on the fence about returning 5600 but again it was only $40 pretty much and 5700x3d is some months ahead at best.
I’ve got ASRock Phantom Gaming 7800xt, it’s fine. No premium feel to it and there’s nothing in the box but the card itself but it’s decent in every respect - quiet, cool enough (hotspot 85° under stress-test overclocked, 75° at stock), some RGB, solid build - there’s really nothing to gripe about
