Before we had our solar installed and they day of having it wired in. We used it to keep the fridge cold and the Internet going. As well has my husband’s computer for work. Randomly we have used it to air up friends tires when they had flats in remote spots. But lately it’s not been used at all.
So here’s an angle. In my area vw sells at about 5% below MSRP. With not dealer add one. Kia sells at about 5.5k over MSRP as does Hyundai. I’m seeing kias move quicker than vdubs. The Ford dealer also sells at same 5% under MSRP as well. And they are stacked up not selling at our dealer. IMHO kia/Hyundai made a stellar e-gmp platform. Vw has made an EV boring and clunky. The mustang is also no better.
This has happened to me as well. afaik Its not an app issue but a dispenser issue. Had to call in and they sorted it out over the next day. But for the rest of that trip I had to either tap my card or call in if the card reader didn’t work.
Sorta, the EA chargers in chipley FL is quite expensive. it was like 20$ but I forget the kwh delivered. THios was with the charge pass. Was a few years ago though. I remeber when they put those chargers in. We were there remdoling the store during that process. Right after the pandemic made landfall in the u.s.
Depends on the ev and the evs trim package. Our ev6 uses a resistance heater for initial heat the swaps over to a heat pump that sources it’s heat from the battery pack, motors and other electronics for heat. Newer Teslas use only a heat pump. Older Teslas use resistive heat only. Some cats only had resistance heat some heat a coolant loop then it goes through a heater core.
