Oh that’s great to hear, thanks.
Kory@lemmy.mlto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•How to play games from GOG and Epic Games on Linux, SteamOS and Steam DeckEnglish2·5 days agoFor me both have their use cases. Heroic is my go to for GOG and Epic games and everything else not Steam (e. g. old Windows install files that I still have lying around). EA App only ran for me on Lutris until one day it didn’t. Then I tried with Bottles and it worked ever since. Not trying to add more confusion, but for some people Bottles has a more intuitive interface than Lutris.

Why not test Secureblue instead of Silverblue?
These are excellent! Please keep sharing more :)
LineageOS has a detailed wiki on this: https://wiki.lineageos.org/adb_fastboot_guide#installing-adb-and-fastboot (scroll down to “On Linux”)
It worked well for me without messing with the udev rules.
So beautiful, I imagine it’s scent is really sweet.

Kory@lemmy.mlto World News@lemmy.world•Denmark to raise retirement age to highest in EuropeEnglish3·2 months agoAgreed. Also wondering what companies are employing people that long? In other European countries, companies wont hire people 50+ cause they are deemed too old, inflexible and expensive. I really wonder, if companies in Denmark are different in that regard.
I’ll sure try Diablo, I totally forgot about that. Having played Diablo 2 Resurrected recently, that fits. Also want to try that Lego game, never heard about it, but it looks fun. And maybe some Icewind Dale, but not sure how that holds up :)
This is great, thank you so much. Saved so I can add something if I come across anything you hadn’t covered yet.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some gaming to do!
I’m playing Subnautica on a HDD and have no issues whatsoever.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with the installation. Since we have such a vast variety of hardware, you will always find a person having trouble with a specific distro I believe. That’s why having so many to choose from is awesome - but also a bit daunting at the start. Glad it’s working now, hope it stays that way.
I remember you asking about what distro to pick, what a wonderful follow-up post. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Thanks for the explanation! I agree, this has been very helpful already. Now I go and do some reading on it.
Depends on the game. In Deep Rock Galactic it’s great, you always have to keep exploring, you never know what’s waiting for you down there.
Edit: but it’s not a classic “dungeon”
