Same, but for my 512 OLED! Really love the blackout style colors on the inputs. ABXY, shoulders, start/select/steam/… all feel way better to press as well than on my original LCD. Everything is just so solid and snappy.
Came for screen and battery. Got premium build quality as a surprise bonus
Downwell, and it’s on sale for less than a dollar
Mine actually feel much tighter and much more responsive
Homie wasn’t getting enough attention for their contrarian opinion so they posted it twice
This is 100% normal for oled screens but is really only noticeable on static gray screens under certain lighting conditions. It’s called the degree of “grey uniformity.”
People went nuts over this when the switch Oled came out (that has basically the same screen at a different size), since Nintendo’s “dark” theme is actually dark grey. So every time you turn the device on you see non uniform greys.
Again, in game you will never notice this. Someone more technical can probably explain why it happens though.
I personally share the mindset that aesthetic add-ons are wasteful, but it’s fine if people like them.
But screen protectors serve an important purpose (while sacrificing nothing if you have a glossy). And the rubber back buttons make those buttons go from ok to fantastic.
I have not seen anyone mention improved ABXY. They feel worlds better than my LCD. I think it’s because I was in the first wave of LCD and half the buttons would stick a little, but it was fixed in later batches
The new black thumb sticks looks so nice
Valheim runs kinda shitty on deck
Y’all need to turn off the performance overlay. Can’t imagine having it on outside of initial tuning or debugging
Departed from facility! USA-IL UPS warehouse people check your tracking numbers
Never been so happy to see “origin scan” before
Does the 512gb have a startup movie to redeem?
I have ordered things from China and had them reach the US in the time the Valve hasn’t even let the box out of the warehouse
ETA doesn’t mean shit until it gets picked up. Valve is incompetent at shipping in the US in a timely manner
Lucky you, I’m still waiting for it to be even picked up
Anyone transfer an SSD from an old deck with 3.5.5 preinstalled? Any issues? Should you boot up your deck with the stock ssd first?
Yeah it’s great! Also, LCD and OLED both got 3.5 on stable around the same time, which improves input lag across the board. So OLED got a double boost if that was your first experience on 3.5
