I believe Glasurit is OEM for a few German brands including Porsche. One paint is not better than the other in this regard both will chip if they aren’t covered with vinyl.

Oh it literally blew up like “if you look at the bottom of the hood you can see through it cause of shrapnel” not “it spun a bearing so it’s fucked blown”
2019 991.2 C2 with 50k miles. After a year of ownership both my rear wheel bearings failed for no apparent reason. They said i probably hit a pot hole but that doesn’t account for both sides or the fact it was bad enough but my wheels weren’t bent. The car is CPO and I assumed this would be covered but apparently that is not the case. Try to find actual documentation on the CPO warranty coverages and you’ll find nothing. Fought with PCNA to get it covered but they refused, as did the selling dealer. Total cost was just north of $5,000.
I did fight with my selling dealer early on to cover the cost of new tires, breaks, and a service because they never did a proper CPO documentation before the sale so that kind of balanced itself out. Still….$5,000 out of the blue was not something I was expecting.
Instead of flaming you I’ll give you a proper answer. Neither, you want Continental Extreme Contact Sport DWS. You don’t drive either of the two tires you mentioned hard enough to warrant the cost but you need the most safety out of a tire in all conditions so there you go.
