Is it just me or did he look slower/washed?
In the first half, when he had all his points, it seemed like he worked very hard for them, only for Jokic to nonchalantly answer back immediately.

I don’t think so.
The voters have been clowned and dunked on the whole offseason for picking Embiid. Fatigue still exists for Jokic and Giannis, it doesn’t just evaporate.
My opinion is, that the MVP voters are very open to crowning someone new.
Idk man this is rough. I don’t see it happening without Harden.
On one hand Embiid has done all he can in the regular season, he’s been #1 seed, scoring champ, he’s great on D. But on the other, he’s all that and folds when it matters most. Getting injured just in time for the playoffs is almost guaranteed.
I know ‘it’s a regular season award’ but after Jokic’s finals run a lot of voters/reporters were forced to eat crow. I think for Joel Embiid to win another, his season has to be miles ahead of #2, regardless of who it is.
That’s Kobe’s son from Colorado.
