Oh, the sharpening of that French tech for just such occasions.
Oh, the sharpening of that French tech for just such occasions.
Pushing it to the limits it wasn’t designed for - some might even break down :D
Using cryptic parameter names is just nonsense when you can obviously use lewd cryptic parameter names instead.
Well, one would have to first think of an elaborate Voyagery backstory on how they get to be adversaries.
Prob like a mind-erasing holo-deck mishap where they think one is the daughter and the other one the mom, they live on a farming planet where a war breaks out & the daughters boytoy is on the opposing side so now they will inevitably face each other in battle.
Then the Borg queen boards Voyager, doesn’t find the simulation as amusing as the crew (which watch it as a reality show non-stop & perform none of their regular duties), assimilates the ship entirely but gets poisoned by all the residual coffee particles on board and dies.
The sim on holodeck continues uninterrupted.
Seven of Nine starts drinking coffee.

(I’m not saying it’s worth the click, just providing an answer - the joke relates to a device called bee smoker that average beekeepers use to pacify the bees before robbing them, tho a lot of them don’t use it)
He is actively creating a vacuum that will absolutely succ the everliving shit out of you.

Absolutely archeological-diggy, high chance if finding embered mosquitos, 10/10 even for pic composition.
They keep remastering games I didn’t come around to play the first time. Aging sux (mine, not of the games).
We know where the old one is and it’s basically on all world maps - it’s the New Zealand that keeps disappearing from them.
It’s doing it’s best and it deserves the praise, go and tell it who is a good abacus.
Jokingly a kinda serious, sad answer - because de facto colonies can’t just freely decide stuff like this without consequences. And other superpowers like China just don’t yet get targeted that significantly to outweigh the commercial benefits of overall trades.
Wait, did Samsung’s patent expire?
PETN-ion batteries, such hot tech right now.
They are even taking about using it in electric cars to vastly increase the (vertical) range they can do.
“Hot single navigators in your area waiting for you call – call now & let them guide you!!”
(I had a car on early 2000s in which the oem satnav lady pronounced the local names of towns kinda extra seductively)
I agree (about the shame & about people-universes).
Oh, giving away labour, actual effective labour that measurably helps someone, yet after so long only the receivers benefit in life from it (no duh), its super demoralising on a personal level & can def be a considerable factor in the depression feedback loop.
Thats how I (unintentionally) see all people - either fucked by life & they appreciate it when they can do something good for another, or assholes (most commonly with a silver spoon of various sizes up those same holes).
Some people want to make others laugh, others just want to laugh.
“Reusable skulls of billionaires are so in right now! And the supply has never been bigger!”
Beat or being able to flourish once the Goth Galadriel is gone?
Because historically the revolutionary forces (the one toppling the bourgeoisie) are extremely shitty governors (just continuing mass murdering & plundering which kinda makes sense if you think how & what they have been through).
In very few historical instances of regime changes all the previous actors as well as anyone involved in the revolution were prohibited in forming the new structure. This helps a lot to actually change the system.
You wouldn’t want to move from a czar to a dictator, thats long term the same bullshit, only makes things better in short term.
Same with any oligarchy, if it exists and has power than it matters little what kind of regime it technically is.
