Not necessarily, but a lot of times when they RMA they will just send you a new deck. Or at least they were doing that in the early days of the LCD. Quite a few folks lost their upgraded SSDs at that time.

I did that exact thing. Pulled my old 1TB that I had upgraded my 64gbLCD with and put it in the OLED. Couldn’t think of a reason not to put the OLED 512 in the old LCD. I’ve still got that 64gb sitting around and that what I’ll be putting in the OLED if I have to RMA it ever.

Absolutely. I game more now than I ever did. I stopped for a while. I’ve been a console guy my whole life (starting with an Atari 2600) but the PS5/series X era just held very little interest for me.

The best mod would be to your expectations.

Got it on my 512 OLED. It’s very pronounced.

Just plugged in my headphones to my new OLED and I have the static. It is not a small un noticable thing either. It’s loud.

I get a lot of play out of King Odd Ball.
