Generally speaking they’ve always been decent. Don’t know about the US Mazda 2 based models but if they’re the same mazda 2’s that we got they’d be ok too.

generally speaking gaskets. Unless the one I need is out of stock and wont be back any time soon I’ll stick to OEM.
honestly shop around for a good paint shop they’ll be able to sort the door out without much fuss and the parts for the mirror arn’t too expensive and if you’re lucky can be delivered painted already. But looking at this image it’s just the black trim so it might be easy to just move the cover over to the new mirror.
Once you get a few quotes do the math taking into account that your rates could be effected too and take the best option.
But I would fix it before rust sets it on the door. It’ll turn a small-ish job into a larger one.
how deep are the scratches? if it’s only gone through the clear coat and you can see the colour under it you might be able to polish it (you cant add paint layers back but you can knock down the edges so it’s less noticeable)
if it’s gone past the colour layer then no amount of polish will help and you’ll need to paint it.
I’d personally not settle for those little paint pens they look shit on anything other than stone chips and get it done right.
type the part number on the package into google. it’s 96864850. You’ll get exactly what’s in this image from a ton of venders as it’s a very common part for GM’s Korean exports.
