If I have to add, I might say that there’s no much to “improve” in an electric motor. For that unique reason, I think the value will hold much more stable than ICE cars in which wear and tear matters a lot. The efficiency of electric motors has been pretty much the same since they were designed. So I think buying an electric car today is smart since the only compatible “efficiency” that might matter in a decade or two are sensors and software. EV can age better with additional software improvement without adding physically anything.
