I couldn’t stop clapping and smiling when Kai scored. In fact I’m still clapping.

Maybe not the best, but Elneny vs Barcelona was pretty sweet
It will still be a game of millimeters with VAR. I don’t see it changing anything.

Sometimes it’s tough to compare when the rules have changed a good bit, the tolerance for certain styles of play and of course the quality/corruption of PGMOL. The quality of players seems definitely higher though overall and it’s exciting to see.
I got banned from r/soccer for pointing out the obvious here, so I’ll just grab my popcorn and watch the comments flow in.
Yeah that was some bullshit.
Basic human anatomy and the way a human body has to move. The rule is the rule, but you literally can’t jump right for a header if you keep your hands down. This could potentially count as hand in a natural position. Probably the toughest rule to interpret imo.
Saliba at 70mil is an all time great joke. The fuck outta here with that shit.
Neto is capable of turning a match on its head in a good way. Toney might be reliable to an extent, but Neto can sometimes single handedly destroy teams, no matter who the opponent is. Then again, if you replace Nketiah with Toney, you are likely getting finishes in situations where Nketiah can’t get it done. Aerial ability as well. Wish we could have both.
This will just be a way for refs to avoid giving reds, just watch. Players will get “punished” now for things they do, but not the appropriate punishment half the time. What should be a red will be a sin bin.
