Eine Kreislaufwirtschaft ist bei einer weltweit steigenden Kupfernachfrage unmachbar. Selbst wenn Deutschland anfangen würde, auf den Rest der Welt zu scheißen, werden sie ohnehin mehr Kupfer benötigen, als auf ihrem Staatsgebiet oberirdisch physisch existiert – einschließlich Mülldeponien und Artefakten aus der Bronzezeit.

Es ist eine Frage, ob man so tun will, als ob Kupfer magisch aus dem Nichts und zum Nulltarif entsteht, nur weil ein deutscher Fabrikant mal eben ein paar hundert Tonnen für die Produktion von E-Autos und Solarpanels herbeizaubern wollte, oder ob es aus dem Boden geholt wird. Natürlich sind die Abbaustandards in Deutschland höher als in China.

Wenn es doch nur einen Zusammenhang zwischen Kupfer und der Stromerzeugung aus Wind- und Sonnenlicht gäbe…

Meanwhile deep value stocks with 50+ percent margins barely attract any money. Just look at mining sector - we supposedly want so called green transformation but investors behave like mining is about to get bankrupt. My question is - where are we going to get all metal needed for these turbines, panels and EV? Not to mention replacing stockpiles of ammo sent to Ukrainians. And there is electrification of large portions of Africa and Asia. Yes, still about 1 billion of people have no access to electricity and about 2 live in energy poverty. Recycling is not going to cover needs for metal.

Ask yourself are elites buying mining stocks while retails sleeps invested in overpriced AI and tech stocks? Who is going to be their exit liquidity?

I hope many Polish politicians will increase that count by becoming astronauts themselves. Preferably with one way ticket.
