If they had his car in for service so long that he was able to put 10k on a loaner, that’s on the dealership.

There is definitely a market for them. They are nice daily drivers, with lots of power. I have a .2 TTS which is obviously PDK, and people hate on that too, but it’s the only way it came and I used to share it with my dad who couldn’t drive a stick for health reasons.
Here the dealer just has to drive over to the DMV to get a copy of the title. Maybe where you are it’s more involved? If you need a vehicle just ask them to give you a loaner until the title arrives. At worst it’s couple day delay you’re talking about.
We ordered a Cayenne Coupe when they first came out, traded in our existing Cayenne because we were promised a specific delivery window, and as it got closer we were told that it was going to be MONTHS AND MONTHS longer than expected, like spring instead of Christmas. That’s a dealbreaker, a couple of days is just annoying.
Does it have to be a less expensive car? I definitely loved my Huracan Spyder, but I think that even a Civic Si or R would be fun if I didn’t have the means. Just make the most of what you’ve got.
