Okay so earlier I just posted White vs Russell, and now I am interested to compare these two players.
On one hand, D’Angelo is almost 10 years younger than Conley, and probably the more skilled and talented player. You could potentially say that his upside is youth, but we have most likely already seen his prime.
On the other hand, Conley is a high IQ very solid point guard, that although he might not be the Grizzlies/Jazz version he once was, but still a great contributor as seen in last years playoffs
Conley, this is completely unbiased.

Then he got injured and we proceeded to go like 10-17 or something
Until she shows a decline below Russell I’d rather have Conley
People are going to let the vs. Denver version of DLo cloud their judgement. He’s a pretty good player vs almost every other team and I would definitely take him over Conley.
I believe in D’lo, but Conley is the better player.

Wait… anyone is picking Conley? He was bad last season and just getting worse.
I mean…take it from the Wolves fan in the thread. We saw both play. Sure, Conley is on the decline. But DLo’s too streaky. Conley was far more consistent.
Consistently bad isn’t a good thing.
Except the wolves got better with Conley. I’d say Dlo is the better player overall but Conley is a better leader, floor general and a more consistent shooter.
Dlo should be a lot better player for how much skill he has but he doesn’t have a great history of knowing when to push his own shot vs creating for others. LA probably wanted him since he’s more skilled and LeBron should make the pecking order very obvious for him.
