Becoming abundantly clear that a large amount of fans on here and social media chose arsenal because they wanted a club they could moan and talk shit about.

They wanted to support a “failure” club and are now gutted because we’re too good. And so they’re just gonna carry on regardless, hang Odegaard, behead Nketiah and burn Raya at the stake for an iffy punch that was ultimately fine.

Wanting to support a “failure club” what absolute tripe. Fully talking out of your arse.

This sub is 80% nothing but pure unadulterated naive bias opinions about our club and players. So much so that saying Odegaard has been underperforming and maybe could he rotated for another player is apparently because they want to support a failure club.

You can’t say a bad word about Raya making mistake after mistake, saka being run ragged and looks half the player he used to, Eddie being not good enough to play for a top 4 side, Arteta being super stubborn. Without being called a fake fan, wanting the club to fail or not watching the games.

Hell, Havertz came off the bench and won 3 headers against Chelsea and someone made a post about it that had hundreds of upvotes. If he so much as breathes on the pitch next time, give him a statue.

The people that actually have an objective take and don’t think the sun shines out of our players arse, they make mistakes and should be dropped at times are the only opinions worth listening too. Because the ones like what you posted basically sums up as “don’t you dare so a single bad thing about our players, if you did then it’s because you actually just want to support a bad team and whinge” and then have the gall to think that this sub is negative

You think the sub is negative because if someone says the grass looks a little less green on the pitch this sub takes it as condemnation of the whole club and want them to be relegated. Any actually balanced opinion that isn’t needless negative but not relentlessly stupidly positive is actually seen as super bad by comparison because everything else said here is that our players and staff are gods who never do anything wrong

I wonder if it’s more out of habit than anything else. For many on here, they only know a dysfunctional Arsenal where we were always on the brink of disaster. The way they process things they see will adhere to that. It’s a different shade of what I think about people like Neville, who cannot see the team in front of him because of what he’s learned from the club in a different era.

We’ve came a long way in a short space of time and how many fans have adapted their thinking accordingly? I still see fans talk about a first 11, they speak as if fringe players offer absolutely nothing, or being benched for a period means the end for a player. Maybe this is just part of the change, and some won’t get it until we win the league when it can be undeniable.

I think it’s more wilful desire than habit. Or just pure, “I’m an online fan, I don’t actually watch games”

It’s a pill people don’t wanna swallow but they’re only mad because them lot over the road are doing well.

I think there’s also an element of frustration, because last season we were a constant joy to watch. This season the football has been less exciting, even when its effectiveness has been similar.
