Hot take: you anti-stat nonces are way weirder than the stat nonces
I like stats. But I think some of them are quite limited.
Stats people love to misuse stats that they don’t understand, and anti-stats people really overestimate their ability to scout footballers from their couch
I love stats but I think bozos ruin them.
What about self-declared ‘stat nonces’ who don’t bother to consider stats in context?
If you clipped a third comment you’d see I have a huge issue with our chance creation this season and nowhere did I say field tilt had anything to do with chance creation.
If you bothered to read the single sentence I just posted, you’d notice that nowhere did I say or suggest anything about what you did or didn’t say elsewhere.
I simply pointed that your TLR in that thread, as linked, displayed a great deal of whining about ‘teh eye test’ and complete ignorance of the source of the single field tilt chart linked in OP, and what its original creator said about it.
I made a comment about chelsea not being good despite their start. Both on chance creation, not dictated in field tilt, and in field tilt.
In that same cluster of comments you went to search up I lament our chance creation despite our dominant field tilt which is exactly what scott was doing. Go search up my other comments.
