Not me over here eating my words cause I never thought he’d be worth the 105m investment from the club

He single handedly got us back into that game against Chelsea. If he doesn’t score that, we lose the game.

I think he is the alpha of the team. You can always feel that he will do everything possible to win all games. He almost acts as if he is the one who was part of Arsenal since childhood.

The rice rice baby chant after dismantling ManU gives me goosebumps to this day. Make me happy every time I feel low

I don’t want Ødegaard to lose his armband but i feel like the captain shout would come anytime soon eventually.

He really is world class. You can see him embrace the pressure. He wants the ball. He wants the spotlight and it actually elevates his game.

This would feel so much better if everyone else was pulling their weight. So many regressions across the team.

Zinny, Odegaard, Jesus, Partey and Martinelli were better players last season. Rice’s performances should be added gravy, not saving our blushes game after game.

Seeing this man carry the ball forward instead of passing it back is what sold me. Too often have I seen players panicking and then passing backwards. Rice quite literally dribbles forward, kind of like what Cazorla used to do (tears in my eyes). Pretty damn special if you ask me!

During the match Saturday, before he even scored his great goal, I found myself asking “is Rice our best player?”

Just feels like, regardless of game script, he’ll always have an impact, and always gives a 7+ performance. Defenders can be quiet when we’re outclassing opponents, and attackers like Saka and odegaard can be schemed out a bit more like we saw Saturday, but Rice feels like he’s going to be influential regardless.
