Chelsea will be without striker Armando Broja, but Benoit Badiashile could be involved. Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are available following international duty in South America.

Arsenal will make late assessments over Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Leandro Trossard.

Don’t think Chelsea will be much of a problem honestly. They have wins over a struggling Fulham and Burnley recently, but I believe they know they’re outmatched. As long as we don’t get complacent and allow them back into the game in the second half it should be smooth sailing. 2-0.

The media are talking Chelsea up and trying to bring them up to our level and talk a Chelsea win into existence. Ignore it. “But our underlying numbers against relegation fodder mean we’re going to create chances”. Even if you do manage to get anywhere near the goal against the best defence in the league, who’s finishing them? Obviously we can’t underestimate any team, but please. We should be winning this comfortably.

Chelsea claiming they’re picking up steam after beating burnley, whilst we just rather convincingly beat city. There’s levels to this

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and say it was convincing. Great defensive performance, but we won off a face deflection lol. That game could’ve gone either way and we were a bit lucky to get the 3 points (brilliant game management from Arteta with the subs though)

Compare that to any of our games vs city in the last 5 years, thats the best we’ve looked in a long time.

Haaland was a complete non-factor in that game, and that’s the most toothless they’ve looked in attack since Pep took over.

Granted, they were missing key players but it’s football and sometimes the circumstances just work in your favor. A statement performance nonetheless though.

Chelsea getting a bit too big for their britches constantly going on about “underlying stats” event Bryce had the easiest opening run of any team in the league and still sit bottom half. Hope we put them right back in place tomorrow and remind them why they’ve been in hiding the past year

Arsenal 3 Chelsea 0 Corner goal from Gabriel. Outside the box from Ø and a tap in for Jesus. Easy as that.

I don’t blame them. I felt it before the Citeh game that we’d win. Although it seems to lean more into delusion for them

Chelsea fan here and most certainly it’s a combination of Saka’s fitness giving the illusion we may be playing a weakened Arsenal, while we’ve had 3 wins on the bounce with the squad seeming to (start to) click, I mean our attackers are actually scoring goals, never thought we’d see the day. Essentially we’re high on Vitamin D(elusion) so expecting no less than a 3-0 onslaught /s

They underestimate Arsenal. I mean for a reason, we’ve historically been bottlers/poor performers when it really counts. However it doesn’t make sense considering we just beat the best team in the world.

We’ve also beat them 4x out of the last 5 games. You’d think they’d be a little more humble and recognize the changing tides by now.

    2 - 1 to Arsenal

Raya - Tomi, White, Gabriel, Zinchenko - Odegaard, Jorginho, Rice - Jesus, Eddie, Martinelli
