Another successful session photographing the Barn Owl, for the 3rd night running it has flew from the barn between 7.30 pm & 7.35 pm, so tonight I sat holding the camera, lens pointing and focused at the small square hole hoping

I would to capture the Owl as it flew out from the barn, sure enough, bang on cue out it came, then turned sharply into the small paddock and into a tree, after a couple minutes it was off across the large green field and out of sight, we never got to see it again. here are a few shots taken leaving the barn and it heading off across the field, the light was really golden by this time, and it wasn’t long after the sun had sunk down below the horizon.
