I don’t think I was trying to be toxic, but you can call it whatever you want.

I’m sorry for giving some unsolicited advice on social media?

Since we are going back and editting now:

Below is an embarrassing attempt by a narrow minded dogmatic thinker to make themselves a victim and shut down a debate to avoid thinking critically so they can cling to their dogma.

    Enjoy the shit show.

You’re assuming you know other people’s anxiety levels and motives. Then you’re giving bad advice. If I was worried or anxious, telling me to just not worry, then linking a pop sci article about generalized anxiety is not helpful. Frankly it’s the definition of toxic positivity.

Luckily, I don’t have generalized anxiety.

If you are truly concerned, and you suspect someone might be having problems, ask them. Or, you could commiserate, or just relate. If you can do neither, sometimes the best thing to do is say nothing.

I’m sorry for giving some unsolicited advice on social media?

This doesn’t sound like an apology, it sounds like you’re trying to be the victim. Which can also be viewed as toxic.

“Psychological projection is a defense mechanism where individuals attribute their own undesirable thoughts, feelings, or impulses to others.”

Maybe you needed that advice more than you realize buddy.

I hope the rest of your day is better.

Alright, since someone else decided to get triggered, I guess I need to say something else here.

Wow, nice you tag me here but not there. Telling.

Psychological projection is a defense mechanism where individuals attribute their own undesirable thoughts, feelings, or impulses to others.

You need to investigate your relationship with death and aging. Also you’re very defensive for being such a “positive” person. You assumed someone else had anxiety, then you tell them they’re projecting when they’re not anxious.

You read Depak Chopra too? Get your crystals aligned? Are vaccines harmful? I have so many questions about your spirituality, does it come with a coffee enema subscription?
