Man, I wish you were right. I find German books are particularly bad, where not even the editor will care to find the obvious spelling and grammar mistakes.
Well tbh Celeste is a writer not a reader.
It’s honestly pretty impressive she writes best selling books with her eyes closed and without ever proofreading them.
It’s not the author’s job to proofread. Editors do that.
