    I worked at a Walmart as a teenager, and if you had a milestone anniversary (every 5 years), you’d get a new nametag (also your timeclock badge) that celebrated how many years of service you had.

    There were people with 50 year badges, and they were super proud of them.

    If I hit 10 while working there, I’d probably kill myself

    I remember we started getting pins and pints on this stupid website for our anniversaries. I was at like year 7 or 8 and I was honestly stoked about the pin.

    Now that I am out of retail and realized how they were manipulating me with those stupid prizes, I feel so dumb. Corporate America sucks.
