Won’t change their mind but what the hell, it’s cathartic.

I wouldn’t even call China communist, that’s giving their propaganda too much credit. At most it’s a dictatorship in a red trench coat

I don’t understand why they would be. There are two definitions of communism I see people use. Marx was talking about a society where the workers were in charge. Who in their leadership was ever something like a factory worker? I’m seeing a lot of people who got degrees and moved to comfy government jobs right out of college. Their families maybe. A lot went on “worker peasant student” grants. I can use words too, but I don’t see many working the mines themselves. Especially after being in government for so long. When is the last time one of these suits picked up a pitchfork? But then the other definition seems disingenuous to me, because I almost always hear it from the right. It’s " when guberment ".

I just want to point out that tankie and communist aren’t synonymous. There are some communists that are pretty cool. I don’t necessarily endorse all of their economic ideas but they’re not disturbed cult members who want me killed so they got that going for them.

Huh. Hadn’t figured a distinction, but I don’t doubt it. I just hate having this slammed down my throat and felt I could dish back better logic.

Honestly, if someone wants me killed, that’s generally the least of my beef with them.

I don’t remember the names of most interchangeable tankie fuckwads, but I presume, from the mention of NCD, that this is the one that opted to call the Tiananmen Square massacre as perpetrated by “CIA militants” fighting with the glorious PLA who were only heroically defending themselves against Amerikkkan aggression.

    “Socialists are routinely assassinated”

    Damn, is it 1970 again?

The simping for propaganda and totalitarian surveillance of the population is amusing, in a grim, dark, “Fascists are so fucking braindead” kind of way.

It truly sounds to me like you guys just need to find a better word at this point. Communism has turned into the USSR, PRNK, and the CCP. You cannot worship this thing and muddy the waters by upholding truly abhorrent examples of the thing you claim is and is not communism.

Any and every single party system, including fascism, communism, and monarchy, are oppressive. Full stop.

Yep all anyone has to do is look at popular culture right now. Most of the people who Proclaim to be Libertarians can’t even be consistently libertarian. To the point where honestly they’re just capitalists. Then you get people on the right claiming to be anarchists as well. With similar outcomes. They’re just capitalists under another moniker. If there’s one thing capitalists and pulls alike love to do is double-speak/newspeak. And redefining terms to mean whatever they want.

How do you ensure the free flow of information? Flooding the zone is enough to take most people out of the game.

With teeth. Non-compliance means a series of escalating responses up to and beyond the dissolution of the organization, redistributing financial assets, personel, and intelectual property to either federal orgs or smaller companies. NPR, PBS, etc.

Doesn’t organized crime show that it’s possible to maintain forbidden organizations with information advantages? How can a state stay on top if key officials are bribed?

A vote of no confidence called by the citizenry, enshrined into law, that enables the unilateral disbarment of any elected and appointed official, on top of direct oversight watchdog committees requiring audit transparency for citizen journalists.
