    How is this any different then the Govt still taking our tax dollars while only pushing policies that hurt Americans…churchs don’t pay tax so of course they should have say.

      I agree that Churches shouldn’t have a say, but paying federal taxes isn’t what gives someone a say in politics. “Taxpayer dollars” is terrible framing. In fact, federal taxes don’t pay for anything at all.

    It’s not like they ever enforced the rule anyway. Last I checked it’s only happened once in the 90s.

      Yes, but like many things, have to remove ignored laws before breaking other norms.

      This is paving the way for churches to be part of militia groups

      (Tax free armed groups openly sponsored by large churches)
