My Friendsgiving (delayed b/c snow) wound up happening immediately after a wedding ceremony I’d already agreed to perform.

The brides were both from West Virginia and came to Vermont to get married. I did not ask who they had left the front row empty chair for–we had just met and it didn’t seem like the right time–but I think the ceremony (which they wrote) speaks to the love they found and the better world they envision. I was honored to be a part of it.

      @rmd1023@infosec.exchange I hope so too. It seemed to be a slightly later in life marriage for them and it was a small affair with a lot of supportive family members attending and also a lot of other folks who zoomed in. It was a really joyous occasion even for a very brief wedding.
