“AI” is already isolated from art because it doesn’t exist.
But I agree that there’s nothing inherently wrong with running statistics on data. I think the average responses from language models could be useful in many instances. I also enjoy art/images created by tools that steal art and provide various averages.
As usual, the problem isn’t the tools themselves but how they’re developed and abused under capitalism.
