Jeroba is already lackluster and there’s a lot of stuff you can’t do on Jeroba that you can do when browsing lemmy through a web browser. One new issue that jeroba has developed is that now it crashes a lot. This has crossed the line for me. It was already a pain to use but the crashing makes it so much worse. Are there any alternative apps yet?
This post has a table of alternate Lemmy apps
Lol, can’t view it in Jerboa
I wish we could view links without leaving the app.
I can see it in Jerboa 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks. I knew this table existed but couldn’t find it.
Thunder. https://github.com/hjiangsu/thunder
Thunder is currently my go-to for reading/scrolling Lemmy.

Liftoff is great. You can find it at https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff
Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve started using this It’s very good
Question - any idea how to get the keyboard to stop popping up? Every time I back out of a thread the keyboars comes into the screen, even if it was closed in the thread itself. Makes no sense.
I agree. Jerboa started with good intentions and I only have respect for the devs but the UX is horrible. Nothing that cant be worked out with enough commitment.
As this is in my line of work it hurts to see even more

Connect is the one. Very active development and looks fantastic.

Jerboa currently has more features than other apps. Try clearing the app data to for the crashes.
Also make sure you update to the version on their GitHub, if you’re still on 0.34 it’s gonna crash on up-to-date instances
Just started having the crash issues this morning. Really wish captcha would be readded to server so lemmy.world could upgrade.
The sticky thread has a ton of alternatives!
The only other I found easily in the play store was Connect for Lemmy. Idk how to collapse comments in it though.
Summit is on the play store too.
Pressing and holding a comment will collapse a thread.
Pressimv and holdomg on a comment will collapse the thread.
