After years of wanting one I finally made it happen. I am so unbelievably happy with this. I think my only gripe with the UTurn Orbit is that the acrylic platter doesn’t have a groove for the belt making it easy to knock off. I wish they’d add a little groove just enough to prevent the round belt from rolling off when accidentally grabbed while removing a record. But if I’m careful it’s a non issue.
My setup isn’t perfect but I have no complaints!

My advice is to take your time and to not get carried away with buying too many records too quickly. Especially if they are new.
Haha my wife is saying the same thing! Everyday I have a new one but I’m pretty happy with the collection now so I can calm down. I think I’m most excited about going to record stores and exploring the collections. It feels like I’m 16 again going to used record stores to find rare tapes and CDs.
