Speedrunning some games that rely on glitches/exploits have to be done on original hardware or an FPGA solution that’s 100% accurate. Otherwise some glitches just won’t work since a software emulator lays out the memory differently, doesn’t do the instructions in the exact same order or is just too fast. So emulators are lossy.
