    As a general rule you pay taxes in the country where the work is done. It doesn’t where the company is from. So if your Lithuanian employer pays you for work that you have done while physically being in Denmark, then you pay taxes to Denmark.

    As others have mentioned, Lithuania has an extradition agreement with Denmark, so if you don’t pay, you’ll be arrested in lithuania and shipped to Denmark for prosecution.

    All you can do is either pay now or call them and make an agreement where you pay it off over time.
