The reason they do it now is because if your dept pass the 10 year mark it becomes too old to collect. But because it’s before the 10 year mark they can still collect it. You owe taxes pay em. Or you won’t be able to come back to Denmark and you might be called in court if you don’t show an arrest warrant will be out for you and if you ever return to DK you’ll be put in jail. So. Up to you really.
Edit to add that it’s only if you haven’t heard from them in 10 years the dept would be forfeit but since you now have heard from them it resets.
