I truly believe the worst is yet to come. Things will eventually get better and we will work to make it so, but I think it’ll get really bad before that happens
This is pretty indisputable. At least the first part. Revolutions aren’t pretty, the empire will lash out, climate change will worsen.
But the chance for growth once the empire falls means that the best truly is yet to come.
I fear how the USA will react to being overtaken, knowing their history, I think Washington would prefer nuclear war.
