What are you guys holding out hope for this season? I’d like:

  • A top 6 wing to replace Cat (Senko isn’t ideal imo but on short term I’d take it)
  • A couple players to shore up the bottom 6. Zack MacEwen is a warm body, but I’d like to see us take a swing on someone who could really elevate our bottom 6. Maybe Zadina?
  • A return for Cat that immediately helps our playoff prospects. By all accounts we’re not getting a blue chip prospect back so I’d like a player that could move the needle for us in a playoff series. If Detroit is the trading partner I want Kubalik +
  • I wanted a goalie and I guess the sens answer is Korpisalo. I hate it tbh but it sounds like we weren’t getting Hart or Saros so what can you do.

    I’m just waiting for next season at this point. I really wanted to see some changes behind the bench. I support DJ, but not his assistants.

    Whoever we get for Cat will be adequate I think. Our whole Goalie program is a toss up, coaching, strategy, and talent wise—don’t see any other changes happening there, though.

    Would have liked to see Joseph go and add another Connor Brown type player (or THE Connor Brown). Obviously cost/cap is an issue there, though.

    I don’t know, just excited to see the progress the core makes (loved the off-season training videos from Stu and G last summer) and the new ‘style’ DJ wants to bring to his coaching.
