About an hour later, I realized what I should have said. I should have looked at him and said, “You know, you’re such a good man. You’re such a good man. Why isn’t your wife a nun, huh?”
I’m sorry, but I’m 35, buying a Powerball ticket, while poor, and being judged by someone who isn’t even the same religion as me. I don’t use drugs. I’m a regular blood donor for emergency room patients. I rarely ever drink. I have never had a DUI or DWI. I work five days per week, typically, unless it’s a holiday. I have never been arrested. Oh, and did I mention I’ve chosen to be asexual since 2023, as well as giving up caffeine and sodas. I think people should focus on health, rather than picking on harmless vices.
So excuse me, but really, ask that guy why his wife isn’t a nun if he’s such a saint, am I right?
You do you my friend.
I see it this way, I buy one every once in a while and for the period of time from when I purchased it to when it’s drawn I live in a fantasy state. I get to dream of all the things I will get and do.
$6 or even $10 to live in a utopian mind set for even 1 day is worth it to me.
