The order I played in is kinda goofy. But I started with Persona 5 on Ps4 and got past the first dungeon before my ps4 died.

I gave up on Persona 5 but when smt iii came to the switch I thought I’d give it a try and I fell in love with it. Became a huge smt fan with my favorite probably being IV or then first Devil survivor. Currently playing P4G on my Vita.

My first was Persona 3 Portable in 2018. I had known about it and 4 from my friends years before but I waited until then for some reason. Played 5 after that, didn’t finish 4, then moved on to SMT4 which I recently beat the law ending of. I have a long way to go to play all the SMT I want.

I’ve been playing since 2020 when P4G got ported, and since then played P3,P4,P5, Nocturne, SH2, P4AU and… every 3DS game, of which there are 9. And I feel like I’m barely halfway through this series, since I plan to play all except maybe the odd ones like Majin Tensei or the Gameboy games.

Persona 4 Golden. Absolutely fell in love with this franchise because of it. Loved the entire game. I can still remember the feeling I had when you first go into town and “Heartbeat, Heartbreak” is playing. It’s just such a great atmosphere. Absolutely amazing game.

I’m currently playing PS5 Royal and will move to P3 after.

P4G on Steam, and soon after SMTIV which I was already planning for a while. I didn’t and don’t have a Playstation so I only played P5 on an emulator a year later.

P5, P4G, SMT4, P5R, SMT3, and SMT5 in that order. I still need to finish SMT5. Love this series, though.

P4G; I had been aware of Persona and SMT prior to that but assumed they were some sort of weird waifu dating game for some reason. Sucks, because they’re amazing games and I could have been playing years earlier.

After years of my friend info-dumping about anything and everything SMT, I bought SMT V on launch day in 2021 and fell in love. Now I’m playing the original SMT and plan to go in order from there. As for Persona, I’m somewhat familiar with Persona 3 & 4 because they were impossible to avoid online during their heydays, and I’ve since watched my boyfriend play through Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal.

SMT III Nocturne. Still the best JRPG of all time, just love that game’s atmosphere and music, sans the random battles.

Then tried P3 took a while to get through. Pretty good but not really that into it.

Then the DDS duology games. Great JRPGs and some of my favorite megaten titles.

Then P4 which was incredible. 2nd fav Megaten title.

By the time P5 came out I kinda outgrew and got burned out on the teen highschool drama social link stuff. Played around 45 hours and stopped. Might come back to it later.

SMT IV and IV:A was decent. Currently playing SMT V and really enjoying it. I really wish they gave the main series the same care as the Persona games, as I prefer the quieter more straightforward approach of those games than following teen gossip and rizzing up virtual waifus.

Persona 4 Golden. Well, technically Persona 4 OG - friends of mine told me to play it and I had it emulated on PCSX2 (this was before the Steam release of Golden) years ago. I got to Yukiko’s boss then dipped. I have a nasty habit of just dropping emulated games.

I picked up P4G again when it got released on Steam, dropped it after getting to Kanji, then continued after getting a Steam Deck (one of the comfiest games to play on a Steam Deck btw), and now I own P4 and P4G’s OSTs on CD.
