Around 2019, my local Costco had these frozen, pre-cooked beef ribs in a box, located close to the frozen pizzas that were phenomenal - throw them on the grill for a few minutes, and it was like sitting down in the best BBQ restaurant.

After about 6 months, they just weren’t there any longer and I still look to see if they will reappear but no luck so far. I can’t remember the brand name…

Growing up my family would get a box of bagel dogs every once in a while. To my teenage self those were just about the best thing ever.

The big bags of P.B. Bites they used to have. I don’t care if inflation made em expensive and they’re worried about sticker shock, the little cups of them they have at the grocery store are tiny and useless I tell you!

So I don’t get it, what caused these menu items to go away related to the pandemic?

During the pandemic, there were many supply chain shortages. Unfortunately, this included many of the ingredients for certain products. The products remained unavailable for a good while, but were never brought back.

Kirkland disinfecting wipes, the big ones, slightly rough Tencel cloth (good for scrubbing), in the soft pack. They have been gone since Covid.

The Clorox ones are too small, don’t scrub well, and don’t dispense well from the hard plastic canister.

Keep in mind a lot of these wipes are made from polyester, which doesn’t biodegrade.

I’ve worn the same Grey socks for decades. I found out the last time I went that they weren’t there anymore. Very upset.

They still have them at the Raleigh, NC store. I saw pineapple passion fruit there for the first time yesterday.
