Wonderful homage to late 70s early 80s teen slasher movies. I particularly relished the retainer being put in it’s carrying case. 😆

People usually link to sites like MSN and Yahoo because the content is no longer locked behind a paywall. 🤷♂️
Little Debbie Zebra Cakes all day long.
Better get started now then.
BrucePac is not a name I recognize. Was this sold in stores under any brand names, or was it just sold to institutions like cafeterias and restaurants?
Do PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo next.
Dems shouldn’t be giving Fox “News” anything. No interviews, no statements, no debates. Nothing.
Such a great song. Bowie’s theme to Cat People around this era is also good.
Google one year from now — “Why isn’t anyone watching YouTube any more?”
Some of this probably has to do with writing self-contained episodes. TV shows of this era were built so they could be shown in rerun syndication. You were able to air episodes out of order, or drop in on an episode without having to rely on having watched the one before it (unlike say, modern Marvel movies). There were ocassionally two parters or season cliffhangers, but the majority of eps stood on their own.
It’s a shame we didn’t get full seasons of some of these storylines, like “year of hell” — but that’s the compromise of getting a Star Trek show in that era. Everything has to be wrapped up or undone by the end of each episode.
Finally the dems are saying it out loud. They should have been yelling this from the treetops since Bush vs Gore.
I don’t get the “no longer fringe” part of this article. There’s always been conservative resistance to public health initiatives.
The same people complaining will act confused when their electric bill goes up later due to relying on fossil fuels.
They’d probably like this over at !activist_and_polemic_art@lemmy.world
They are bad when kids get their feet caught in escalators.
Right? Let’s just ignore QuickTime I guess.
TLDR: people are damaging books they want removed from the library. These books are pulled from circulation as part of a process called “weeding”.
But when books are weeded, a fresh copy is ordered to replace it. So this vandalism isn’t really accomplishing anything.
Exorcist II is bonkers and worth a watch just for the craziness of it all.

I tried to enjoy this show, but the “all gays are fit and sleep with each other” trope is just too tired.
