looking at pictures of canister vacuums, I wonder why the form factor isn’t more popular. It seems incredibly convenient since you don’t need to always be pushing the heavy motor around.
It’s the default in Germany I think. At least it used to be, knew no one who had something different as a child.
Just a bit less convenient to store as they’re a bit bigger.

Meanwhile in the Netherlands, that’s the only type you really saw. No one I know used anything else, until recently when motors became small enough.
