I have never gotten 400 miles out of a shoe. I’m 190lb runner and have gotten as low as around 200 miles and looking back through my Garmin retired shoes managed 370 once. At any rate, shout out to these Brooks Ghost 13’s :)

Normally something (knees) let me know it’s time to switch. These I retired due to running out of sole! At any rate, 95 activities, and 444 miles is a record for me!

Longest i’ve ever gotten out of a pair was around 1600km on a pair of triumph 18. Admittedly those were used a bit too long, although having a rotation helped. At the end i just used them for occasional shorter slow runs.

On average l try to get at least 1000km+ out of each pair.

But ghosts are definitely known for good durability

Impressive! At 210 pounds I go through shoes pretty fast, but my current Asics Novablast just hit 300 miles and they’re still going strong, hopefully they hold up like these Ghosts.

I’m curious to see if the new ones go close to that long too. Bought them both at the same time.

Ghosts are my favorite! I usually get about 350 miles out of them, so way to go! I also do not understand those people who gets tons and tons of miles out of shoes.

Ya, I assume weight has a big impact, but obviously how much you scuff/how you land etc… Just crazy how even these wore without causing any running issues. Wouldn’t think my running changed much just out of the blue.

Wow that’s something! I have Asics Gel Kayano with more than 700 km - not sure I should get new ones, but my knees are fine and I don’t feel any discomfort when running. I’m approx 75 kg.

Ya, I wasn’t having any real issues, just busting through the sole a bit on my heels. Just figured it was time to swap to the next set.

I run about 1000km/620miles usually. Altough my brooks (adrenaline) tend to be a bit less, around 900km/560miles. The rubber on the sole is usally completely gone in some spots. Adidas shoes, with the continental rubber on the soles, tend to last a bit longer. I’m about the same weight as the op.

One of them will just start getting tight/sore. I’ll notice it while not running, sitting on the couch undery leg or crouching.
