Watch went crazy
Morning so. Injury free (so far) and waiting to start my Parkrun. I’ve been hesitant about these for a long time because I didn’t think I liked running in a group. Turns out I like running in a group.
Well I fucking nailed that Butter Chicken. Both kids had seconds. That never happens lately. Put it in the oven for 15 minutes and managed to crisp up the chicken perfectly.
Feels like my patella…
Off to my Parkrun. Sore knee again so hopefully I’ll take it easy.
Damn…PBS was pumping for school drop off
She barely knew anything about ok computer…ie. last song was Karma police, she’d heard it before she thought… Different strokes I guess.
Yeah. Very vocal Palestinian protest by one person at the last encore. Fair enough, but unfortunately I don’t think the crowd got on their side because of that interruption to the show and their yelling and anger towards Thom Yorke. Crowd actually felt quite tense until the protester decided to leave the venue. Just seemrd like an odd choice by the protester. Buy a ticket then wait until the final encore acoustic song to have their have their say in such an aggressive manner and tone…
So, Thom Yorke was amazing. I chatted to the person next to me… Quite young looking woman, asked her if she’d seen Radiohead before, no first time. Told her I’d seen them in 97. Wow, that was before they got big. my dad went to that tour, that’s where I got this shirt That show was 27 years ago… I was very likely at least double her age. I don’t know whether I should feel old as time itself or that I should assume it’s because of Radiohead being a timeless band and all that… Second one right?
Was the last one in the shop
mine came with warts 😳
Last minute ticket to Thom Yorke…! Holy shit. Let’s go!
Spooooooooooky week. Inspired by Scooby Doo.
I grabbed it from an image search. This is the website - https://dogid.com/blogs/dogid/six-safety-tips-for-running-with-a-dog-that-pulls
Bad sleep so couldn’t get up for a Parkrun this morning. Managed to get out an hour later with the doggo. My knee seems to be playing up a bit, so I guess I’ll ice it for a bit. Just starting to get my motivation and consistency back after my injury period, so don’t really want to get another so quickly.
TEN was my first cd purchase.
Nice! I’m hoping to be there Monday.
I think I may have just secured a GA ticket to Pearl Jam… Say what you will, but they are a seminal band for me. Many core memories burned into my soul.
This version of Ledbetter was on a complication album I had of the Tibetan Freedom Concert from 94 (?)… All that’s missing is the we are the mighty mighty bosstones as the track ran into the next one. Ha.
Big weekend for him, doggo sleep now.
Holy. Shit…I totally forgot about this album! I saw these guys at the old Prince of Wales in 2011. Fucking brilliant show.
